All 3 of our Animation Sets have been updated to include AVI formats of the fixed background versions. We have also tweaked some of the files to adjust speeds. This update is free of charge to all registered users, and you will receive your download links within the next day or two.

We have been concentrating on new sets recently, so unfortunately the web site templates have been somewhat delayed. However I am happy to announce that Template IV is now available for purchase. For more details, please check our products page.

We have uploaded our entire news history, dating back to the very first day of glyFX (way back in June 2001). If you are interested in how it all started (and a little bit of nostalgia), please feel free to read through our news archive pages.

We are currently working to finish the Database I Large Edition set, which should be ready within the next 4 to 5 weeks.

Last of all, we are very happy to announce two new glyFX partners:

With the release of our first Large Edition set, we are renaming all current glyFX toolbar image sets as Small Editions. This will help alleviate any possible confusion between the two sizes.

The Core II Combo Pack is now available, allowing you to buy the Core II Small Edition and Core II Large Edition at the same time, and save $10US.

The first of our large edition sets is now available! The Core II Set - Large Edition features the same great images as in the Small Edition, but are available in 32x32, 48x48 & 64x64 pixels! As with all our new sets, the Core II Set - Large Edition is supplied in 24bit BMP, 8bit transparent GIF and 32bit PNG formats. As promised, all our sets are being updated to include new formats; 8bit transparent GIF and 32bit PNG (with alpha channel). As of today, the Database II and Core II sets are available with the new formats included. The anti-aliased images look superb, and if your software supports it, they will improve your interface even further. Of course, the GIF and PNG versions are perfect for your web site too!

If you already own these sets (either seperately, or as part of a pack), keep an eye out on your inbox; an email will arrive in the next few days with details on how to download the latest updates.

Last (but definately not least), the Core II Large set will be available from Monday (8th March). It contains the same images as the current set, but includes 32x32, 48x48 & 64x64 sized images! Brilliant quality, these will be perfect for wizard screens, application icons, and of course your web sites. The other large sets are currently in production, and will be released over the course of this year.

Existing owners of the Core II set will receive a discount coupon to purchase the large set at a special price.

In order to cater to everyones needs, all future sets will be available in Small (16x16 & 24x24) and Large (32x32, 48x48 & 64x64) sizes.

As an addition to the Essentials Pack, we are now making available the Tech Pack, which contains 3 full glyFX sets, at a discounted price. For more details, please see out specials page.

We are very happy to announce that the brand new Database II Set is now complete. It adds 27 new images designed for database applications. This is also our first set that includes 32bit transparent PNG versions, as well as the 24bit BMP files!

The three new sets (Character Tile, Symbol Tile & Database II) have been added to our big pack, to form the glyFX 11 pack. The new pack is huge, and contains over 700 glyphs! For more details, please check our specials section.

Last of all, the Common Toolbar Set has been updated to include a PDF Image Guide, so if you need this, please download the new file.

When designing your application interface, you may need to add a button to the interface that is not easily described with an image. You may also want to display special and foreign characters in your interface. The Character Tile and Symbol Tile sets fill this need, by providing most of the ASCII character set in graphic format. Each image is supplied in 2 sizes, 3 states and 7 different background colours! Together, they provide 284 characters (and counting all the available states, sizes and colours comprise nearly 12,000 files!)
